Why Buying Online Is Better Than Buying From A Vape Shop

I had a previous post explaining why you should never buy vape products from a cigarette shop. However, we all know that vape shops aren’t the only places you can get vaping products. As a matter of fact, a lot of people would prefer to buy online. So how do online vape stores weigh against buying from a brick and mortar shop?

I did notice that vaping has a stronger and more positive presence online. There are hundreds of blogs and forums where enthusiasts get together to discuss vape related issues. With this, many manufacturers have put up their sites that offer almost anything you need related to vaping. A lot of these companies sell exclusively online. This is one reason why I think buying online is better than going to your local vape shop. There is much more variety and availability for your vaping needs.

There are also limited edition mods that are sold on the web only. There are some instances where you can find these rare mods in a shop, but they are usually sold at a flipper’s price. This happens online as well through second party sellers, but it is less likely to happen if you buy directly from the manufacturer’s website.

Speaking of price, I have noticed you can get better deals buying online compared to buying from a shop. It makes sense that these vape shops have to sell their products at a higher price to cover their overhead. Online stores have less margin to cover and can afford to sell it at a cheaper price. Shipping fees might set you back a bit, but there are many companies that offer free shipping.

Don’t get me wrong, I am not implying that everyone should just ditch the idea of buying from a store and do all their shopping on the internet. I think the biggest deterrent to buying online for me is the wait time. From my experience, most online purchases take about 2-3 days to arrive which isn’t too bad, but it can feel like eternity for me at times. There are instances where I want something right there and then, and I don’t want to wait a couple of days to get it.

When it comes to buying juice, I personally like to buy from a vape shop because I get to sample it before buying. There are reviews to go by when searching online, but everyone has their personally taste and preference.

Both have their pros and cons, I just feel that shopping online is a slightly better alternative than buying from a vape shop. What are your thoughts?

  1. My fiance bought a k100 mod from a local vape shop {we live in upstate new york so it’s the only vape shop around} and it was about $100 for the whole set up. I looked on ebay and found the same mod for $30. Sometimes it just doesn’t make sense to buy from a store.
