This question came from one of my readers. I’m always open to questions because it give me something to write about and by answering a question, I know I am helping someone out.
Before I go any further, I’m sure some of you have heard stories of how slow the shipping is. Well, here’s a screenshot of how long it took me to get my package from them:
I did my research and came up with these 3 hard hitters listed on Fasttech:
I remember watching Rip Tripper’s review of the Pegasus mod, I was amazed. It was also my first time to see a pure copper mod. I initially thought that copper mods were made because people were tired of the brass and stainless steel look. He said (at the time) that it was the hardest hitting mod he had ever tried, that made me want to know why copper was so special.
I learned a lot that day. I learned that copper is a great conductor for electricity, that copper mods have less tendency for battery drop, and that you can even patina them into cool designs.
I also learned however that silver is a better conductor compared to copper, which brings us to our next mod.
The Panzer takes it further with silver plated contact pins which give it that hit. Many people swear that the Panzer mod is or is one of the hardest hitting mechanical mods available, both for the authentic and clone version.
So if silver beats copper in conductivity, how do you top that? Well, what if you fused both copper and silver in a mod? Then you get the Stingray X mod clone.
The Stingray X has a copper tube which is encased in stainless steel, giving you the copper function without the look. The silver contact pins bring the best of both worlds together.
I can say by personal experience that this thing hits as hard as a bear. Not that I’ve ever been hit by a bear, but using it has cut my nicotine level by half because it was so strong it would make me cough whenever I would use it with juiceat my normal nic level..
So there you have it, 3 mods that don’t play around. Whatever you choose, I hope this post helps you and other people who are looking for hard hitting mods.
