Sub-ohming, cloud chasing, it is basically a build where your resistance goes under 1 ohm. Others may believe that true sub-ohms are anything under .3 ohms, but technically sub-ohming is vaping anything .9 and under.
The reason why sub-ohm vaping has become so popular is because of the huge vapor it puts out. Remember those crazy cloud videos you saw on Youtube? That’s done through sub-ohm builds. I think we all can agree that nothing looks cooler than blowing a huge cloud of vapor around your vaping buddies.
The thing is, there is a lot of technical stuff that goes into sub-ohming. If not done properly, you will not achieve the huge clouds or even worse you will get hurt. Don’t believe me? Here’s a video from a while back that gave me a really solid understanding of the basics of cloud chasing:
Fortunately, there are some newer alternatives on the market that gives the newbie vaper, or even the advanced vaper that just hates doing builds and dealing with coils could look to in achieving cloud chaser status.
I think this is great for newbie vapers who want to try blowing thick clouds for the pure effect, its also for those vapers who just don’t have the time or patience to do all that coil wrapping and what not.
