To Buy It Or Not: The Briefcase 60 Watt Box Mod By SMY

I noticed this very beautiful vaping device online and I must admit, I am very tempted to get this one.

What captured my attention was how thick and sturdy it looked to the grip. I could imagine this unit fitting comfortably in my hand.

This mod is one of the few that have a full color screen. Another mod I can think of that has a full color screen is the Gi2 100 watt box mod.

What I love about it most is the price; this authentic 60 watt box mod is under $90!

Before we start making decisions, let’s look into the Briefcase box mod a little more.

The body is made of aluminum and carbon fiber. It’s houses a single 18650 battery which does not come with the unit. For these kinds of devices, you will need a 20 amp or higher battery. Do your research when it comes to batteries as well.

It has an adjustable 510 copper pin; adjustable so your tanks/drippers sit flush and ensures a good connection while I mentioned what the benefits of copper are in terms of vaping.

Probably the biggest letdown this mod has is it’s magnetic back cover. Many people who have purchased it complain of it being “wiggly,” but still stays on and doesn’t fall off.

This ranges from 7 to 60 watts, which is a good amount of power.

Super sub-ohmers might be disappointed to find out that this doesn’t fire lower than 0.3 but other than that, this performs very well.

The only reasons I see in not buying the Briefcase mod is the back cover (if you might find a rattling battery cover to be annoying, then don’t buy) and the inability to fire lower than .3.

However, if you don’t mind these things then I think you should definitely go for it. A full colored screen on a beautiful high wattage mod that is under $90, now that’s a good deal!
