Why The Tobacco Company Is In Demise

Aiden from VapLab based in Canada sent me this very interesting infographic explaining why the tobacco industry is coming to an end.

The graphic briefly explains the history of tobacco, it’s rise in popularity, how medical research led to tougher laws against tobacco, which eventually led to the decline of tobacco and rise of vaping!

I also came to realize how screwed the tobacco industry is (here in the U.S.). After 46 states sued the 4 biggest tobacco companies back in 1998, the tobacco companies settled by agreeing to pay over $200 billion USD in compensation for the next 25 years.

And by the looks of it, cigarette sales here in the U.S. are not going to get any better. But Big Tobacco still has that $200 billion debt they have to the 46 states. What will happen when they can’t pay the amount they agreed upon?

Please visit Aiden’s site (the maker of this infographic) and please leave comments and feedback.

Former smoker turned vaper since 2013. I blog about questions that I and others might have about vaping. All I can say is it's a better alternative to cigarettes, nicotine gum, patches or medication, no matter what the Big Tobacco backed media says!
