3 Temperature Control Mods Under $50

Some of you might have noticed that I haven’t posted in almost a week; I have been very busy with deadlines at work and had to focus on that for the meanwhile.

Anyway, here’s a post I meant to release sooner. I was contacted by a reader via e-mail asking me to do a post about affordable, entry level temperature control mods.

The reader has been vaping for a while and has collected a number of mods, but hasn’t bought a temp control mod yet. What makes him want one so badly is the stories he hears about how the temperature control mods

Right now is a great time to buy a temperature control mod, especially now that a few, well-known vape brands have decided to drop the price down on these beautiful TC mods.

The common theme among these mods in this post is they have temperature control, house a single 18650 and won’t cost you more than $50. These mods can also be found on VaporDNA.

iPV D2

The most expensive mod on the list falling right under the 50 dollar mark, the iPV D2 TC mod is a sturdy looking mini mod that goes up to 75 watts. It is also made by Pioneer4You which is the same company that brought us the very successful iPV mod series.

  • Resistance: 0.02 regular mode, 0.05 TC mode
  • 200 to 580 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Spring loaded 510 connector
  • Sliding ball locking door

Koopor Mini

After the release of the successful M80 and XCube, Smoktech bring us the Koopor Mini 60-watt temperature control mod. It’s a nice snug mod made for everyday vaping with temperature control. It’s 0.1 ohm resistance works well with sub-ohm tanks. Another cool thing about the Koopor is it comes with a free silicone sleeve!

  • Resistance: 0.01 regular mode, 0.06 TC mode
  • 200 to 600 Degrees Fahrenheit
  • Spring loaded 510 connector
  • Magnetic back plate

Mutation XB

Last on the list is the Mutation XB TC mod by Project Sub-Ohm, another company that has been on a roll in providing affordable and quality products like the Mutation X RDA. The Mutation XB comes in 4 different finishes and has a magnetic sliding door.

  • Resistance: 0.01 – 3.0 ohms
  • 212 to 599 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Spring loaded 510 connector
  • Magnetic sliding door

These mods in my opinion give you a lot of value for your money and are too good of a deal to pass on. Remember that prices and inventories change so these mods won’t be available forever at these prices.
