Why E-Cigs Are Less Harmful Than Cigarettes

The U.K. Government gave it’s endorsement of vaping this year, saying it was a much safer alternative to smoking.

Many thanks once again to Steve of PurpleBox for hooking us up with another one of his infographics about vaping.

Some of the highlights of this infographic are:

  • E-cigs are ninety-five percent less harmful than smoking, according to a recent landmark review by a government body.
  •  Less than one percent of adults and young people who have never smoked are becoming regular e-cig users.
  • Public information has been misleading. Eighty-two percent of people surveyed in the US in 2010 believed that vaping was less harmful than smoking. That declined to fifty-one percent in 2014.

Enjoy!

Former smoker turned vaper since 2013. I blog about questions that I and others might have about vaping. All I can say is it's a better alternative to cigarettes, nicotine gum, patches or medication, no matter what the Big Tobacco backed media says!
