After reading my post about new vape products in 2016, you kinda get the idea of where vape innovations will going for the next few months.
We know that there will be more tanks that use Clapton coil builds. More triple 18650 mods will be coming out. But there is one thing many vapers have seem to forgotten, the mighty 26650. Big brother to the 18650 battery.
26650 batteries were a hit when they were first introduced to vapers a few years back. The big batteries had a dramatic effect on tube mods, making them beefier and bigger.
However, the supply for 26650’s didn’t quite meet the demand since this type of battery is considered obsolete by many manufacturers. It was also difficult to find chargers that could accommodate the 26650’s, and it also took long to charge these big boys.
However, a resurgence of 26650 batteries and mods could place the 26650 mod back on the vape radar. If you are a loyal 26650 user, you will be glad to know that not all vape manufacturers have turned their backs on you.
These new mods have updated features, a big step from the traditional mech tube mod. If you are looking for some new 26650 box mods, check out some of these mods I compiled below:
The Sigelei 90W Plus TC mod comes right under $100. It supports Ni200 Nickel and Titanium and can measure temp in Fahrenheit or Joules. Also included is a Sigelei 26650 battery, yes!
The Cloupor T6 26650 box mod is a single 26650 mod which unfortunately is not included. However, it is cheaper than the Sigelei 90W so I guess that extra money can go to buying a good quality 26650 battery. The OLED display shows battery percentage, watts, ohms, puffs, battery charging state, volts and CPU temperature
The only mechanical mod on the list is the Tesla Invader 26550. Although it does not have any of the features of the previous two mods, it house TWO 26650 batteries! And the price? It’s under $35!
