American-based Vapor Shark became the vaping industry’s first company to get an ISO 9001 certification.
ISO 9001 is internationally recognized as the quality management standard that presents guidelines intended to increase business efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Good news for the vaping industry
This is good news for the industry as a whole and shows that vaping companies are serious about becoming more mainstream by getting a highly respected accreditation.
Just my opinion on this
If you ask me, I think any positive recognition for vaping is a good thing. It also shows others that the vaping industry wants to be taken seriously and not just thought of some fast growing trend.
However, I don’t think it’s necessary
I don’t think it’s necessary to try and reach out to anyone except smokers when it comes to vaping. If you aren’t trying to stop smoking, then you have no business with vaping.
What I think is best for vaping
I think vaping was perfect right before the recent FDA regulations. The vaping community acted as it’s own government. Vapers went by what other vapers told them when it came to what products to buy and what they shouldn’t.
Vaping must not go mainstream
I pray to God that vaping will never reach the mainstream and will forever remain independent.
The thing with vaping going mainstream is if that happens then vaping also becomes politicized, which then becomes an even bigger problem.
Vaping was made for quitting smoking
And that’s all it should be for. It’s not to look cool. It’s not to make you a better person than other people. It’s not to get teenagers to smoke cigarettes.
It’s to make people stop smoking.
The crazy world of vaping is not for everyone
We have our crazy little e-liquid concoctions, our vape competitions, and foggy vape conventions.
People outside of the vape community see this and laugh, get angry, annoyed, think it’s stupid, everything negative you could think of.
But all of these things we do is for us, and we do this for our sake. We do this because we enjoy doing these things. We could care what others think.
People who vape understand and appreciate these type of things while others scoff when they see these things in the media.
Hope you see what I’m trying to say
All I’m saying is I think vaping should be treated more like the La Cosa Nostra and less like Disneyland. I mean we should concentrate vaping to people who want to quit and stay off cigarettes, and not open the gates to everyone and anyone who wants to taste flavored water vapor.
Not some “hobby” or something to try out because you have nothing else to do with your bored life. This isn’t for everybody.
So no, I don’t think we need any type approval from people outside our circle, and we need to stop messing with these posers and people who have no affinity with how amazing vaping is at getting people off cigarettes.
