Planning To Buy A Copper Stingray Mod Clone? Read This First.

One of the flagship mods that spearheaded the copper craze is the Stingray Mod by JD Tech. Aside from it’s beautiful design, the firing button was one of the smoothest ever made for a mechanical mod.

Since the first Stingray was such a success, the copper version sold out almost instantly leaving the rest with us having to settle with the clone.

However, to the untrained vaper, all clones are the same. Some manufacturers make better versions compared to the others.

Here is a video I thought was really helpful especially for people who plan on buying a Stingray mod clone.

Find My Vapes shows us which version you should be looking out for if you decide to buy a Stingray clone.

Where To Buy Authentic Mechanical Mods

Chi-You mod by Mojo

I have been very vocal in my support for clones, and I don’t change my stance at all. As long as these original mods are overpriced and hard to find, I will continue to support clones and replicas.

I don’t really think it has an effect when clone manufacturers copy mods down to their logo because I believe people buy a mod based mostly on design and not brand name.

However, I have been getting into this point in vaping where I WANT an authentic mod, at least 1 in my collection! I want to know how it is to have a mod with its own serial number and authentication papers. I also plan on going to vape meets, and I personally don’t think it would be a good idea to bring a clone to such important events for the culture.

I think a good collection would be quality over quantity. I know, its going to take me a longer time to get a mod I want, but I think the satisfaction and gratification would be more intense once I receive my authentic mod in the mail!

Now, aside from price, I know that timing is crucial too. A lot of these units sell quick, so being quick to buy is important as well.

I came across this site that has authentic mods. I like them because they have a lot to choose from, and some of them are in stock. Here are a few beauties that caught my eye, and yes they are still available (as of July 27, 2014)!

If you ask me, I got the Chi-You, which is why I posted it on the top of my post. Look at how beautiful the detail and design is on that mod! If I had the money though, I would have gotten everything I posted on here honestly.

Remember, if you see something you like that is out of stock, chances are it will never be reproduced again. So get one while you still can.

Innokin iTaste MVP V2.0 iClear 30 Kit

Everyone I have came across who owns an MVP swears by it, and why shouldn’t they? It has a 2600 mah battery, that’s a lot battery life. Your usual E-Go battery has 900-1,300 mah. Imagine the time you have in using the MVP without having to charge. It also has tons of skin wraps so you can “pimp” your mod to pretty much however you want.
